JetBlue Airlines Check-In Times
- If you're not checking bags, you must check-in no later than 30 minutes before scheduled departure time for domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for international flights.
- Checked bags will not be accepted any later than 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for international flights and 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for domestic flights.
- All passengers must be onboard the aircraft 15 minutes prior to scheduled or posted departure time for domestic flights.

JetBlue Airlines allows one small personal item (purse, small backpack, briefcase, laptop, etc.) with maximum total dimensions of (17 x 13 x 8 inches) or (43 x 33 x 20 cm), plus one carry-on bag for free. The carry-on baggage can be no larger than (9 x 14 x 22 inches) or (22 x 35 x 56 cm), including handles, wheels, and straps. Carry-on bags should fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you, while personal items must be placed compartment or under the seat in front of you.
Carry-on for Infants
There is no JetBlue allowance for infants sitting on an adult’s lap. Passengers traveling with infants on their laps may carry a diaper bag, pushchair and car seat for the child, in addition to carry-on bags.
All checked baggage must not weigh more than 50 lbs (23 kg) and must fit within the overall dimensions of 62 inches (Length x Width x Height). If your fare does not include checked bags, you can save money by purchasing them in advance on JetBlue's official site or the JetBlue mobile app. Passengers traveling through jetBlue Airways can book up to 2 bags online, subsequent bags can only be added at the airport.

JetBlue Plus Cardmember
Baggage exceeding the JetBlue Airlines baggage allowance, fees will be charged. The overweight, oversized, and extra baggage costs will be charged as follows:
- Overweight bags: Bags weighing over 50 lbs (23 kg) to 99 lbs (45 kg) will be charged at a rate of up to $150 per bag.
- Oversized bags: Passengers traveling with checked bags measuring more than 62 inches (157 cm) to 80 inches (203 cm) will be charged at a rate of up to $150 per bag.
- Bags that exceed 80 inches (203 cm) in total and 99 lbs (45 kg) will not be accepted as checked baggage.
JetBlue Frequent Flyer Program

Flying with Infants & Children
Lap Infants fly for free on JetBlue Airlines flights. If you're flying with a lap child on JetBlue Airlines, you can bring abroad one diaper bag, one stroller and a car seat in addition to your carry-on and personal items. These do not qualify for checked baggage allowance. Passengers traveling with a lap child will be asked for proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or immunization record. Please note that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires all infants above two years should not travel as a lap child and must occupy their own seat and travel on their own ticket. Seating for infants and children
Car seats and child restraint systems are considered a special item that may be carried in addition to the one personal item that a customer is permitted to bring on board the aircraft. Checking a child car seat or stroller, child carriers/backpack carriers, or booster seats, it will not count as one of your checked bags, and there is no fee. There is no limit to the number of assistive devices a passenger may carry as carry-on or checked baggage either.
Children between the ages of five and under fourteen years who will be traveling alone are considered unaccompanied minors. Children who have reached their fourteenth birthday and is flying alone is no longer counted as unaccompanied minors, but if they use the service, fees are the same as unaccompanied minors. JetBlue Airlines does not allow children under five years of age to travel alone. Unaccompanied children may only travel on non-stop flights and are not permitted on connecting flights or direct flights or in Mint seats. Unaccompanied minor service is available on all JetBlue Airlines flights for a fee of $100 each way. Once you booked an unaccompanied minor seat, fill out the unaccompanied minor form, print three copies, and bring them with you to the airport.
Flying while pregnant
JetBlue Airlines allows expectant mothers to fly up to seven days before the baby's due date. However, pregnant passengers expecting to deliver within seven days are prohibited from travel on JetBlue flights unless they come up with a doctor's certificate dated no more than 72 hours before departure.
Flying with Pets
JetBlue offers its customers an exclusive program called JatPaws, which provides pets and their owners the tips & tools they need for a smooth journey from start to finish. Passengers can carry domestic pets such as small cats and dogs on all domestic and international flights (except flights to/from Jamaica, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, and interline/codeshare bookings) for a pet fee of $125 each way. One pet per passenger is permitted on JetBlue flights. The pet carrier cannot exceed the dimension of (17 x 12.5 x 8.5 inches), and the combined weight of pet and pet kennel must not exceed 20 lbs.
